Halder, Mr. Indranil Halder ...for the petitioner Ms. Piyali Sengupta ...for the State Mr. Debashis Saha ...for the private respondent The petitioner is aggrieved that despite complaint dated July 18, 2022, the Bidhannagar (South) Police Station has not received the same and has not taken any step.
Ms. Piyali Sengupta, learned counsel for the State submits that the complaint was received by email and post and four several emails were sent to the petitioner by the Investigating Officer, but the petitioner has not cooperated. In the event, the petitioner cooperate, the Bidhannagar (South) Police Station shall take appropriate steps in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. In so far as the petitioner's claim of wrongful eviction is concerned, he may seek appropriate civil remedies in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
The report of the Bidhannagar (South) Police Station dated 13.09.2022, is taken on record.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
