The petitioner is aggrieved that despite complaint dated 5th March, 2021, English Bazar Police Station has not taken steps to register the FIR. The petitioner has also approached the Superintendent of Police, Malda.

This Court is of the view that the remedy of the petitioner is under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, which he may avail in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
