Mr. Sakti Pada Jana ..for the petitioner Mr. Tarun Kumar Ghosh Ms. Debarati Sen Bose ..for the State The grievance of the petitioner is that after conversion from Contributory Provident Fund to General Provident Fund his pension should be from the date of retirement and not from the date of filing of the application for conversion from CPF to GPF.

However, I direct the respondent no.3 being the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), South 24 Parganas to hear the petitioner and decide the matter. If the District Inspector of Schools finds that the contention of the petitioner is correct and in accordance with law, arrear pension is to be given to the petitioner as soon as possible by the appropriate authority.

With the above observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
