Heard Mr. Tanmoy Mukherjee, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Kishore Mukherjee, learned counsel for the respondents. It is submitted that the vendor on selfsame day the transferred his entire share by two consecutive deeds. Now the question that crops up is whether the transfer of entire share would debar the petitioner from taking recourse to Section 8 of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 and the issue is being considered by the Larger Bench.

Under such circumstances, the matter is adjourned sine die with liberty to mention.
