The petitioner seeks bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, considering the nature of relationship between the petitioner and the de facto complainant and the period of detention of the petitioner, the Court should grant bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the victim girl and the age of the victim girl.

Considering the age of the victim girl and considering her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and considering the complicity of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM 7383 of 2021 is dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
