Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record including statement of the victim girl. Victim girl stated that petitioner had induced her and her father to part with money on the false promise of giving employment in railways. Fabricated documents were also handed to them to create false confidence. Subsequently, she was ravished. Fabricated documents were seized in the course of investigation. Petitioner has criminal antecedents. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials on record and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. ( Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J. ) ( Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
