Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner has assailed the order passed by the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Court, 1st Court, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur on 7th June 2024 in SC(E) 38(11) of 2019 turning down the prayer of the petitioner for confirmation of his interim bail. The petitioner seeks confirmation of the interim bail granted to him by the learned Special Court on the ground that he has deposited 50% of the final assessment amount before the appropriate authority.

Learned counsels for the opposite parties raise objection to the contention of the petitioner. Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties this Court is of the view that since the

petitioner has deposited 50% of the final assessment amount before the authority, interim bail granted to the petitioner be confirmed. However, the petitioner shall appear before the learned Trial Court on every date of hearing fixed before it.

The revisional application being CRR 2880 of 2024 is disposed of.
