This matter has been listed at the instance of the petitioner's Counsel for correction. It is pointed out that the prayer was for interest on delayed payment of gratuity and pension. This would also appear from the prayer portion of the writ petition. However, through inadvertent error, interest has been allowed only on arrear pension. This error needs to be corrected.

Accordingly, the sixth paragraph of the order dated 3 October, 2018, which is the operative portion will now read as follows:- "Having heard the learned Counsel for the parties and having regard to the orders of this Court passed in other matters, I direct the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal as also the concerned Treasury Officer to pay interest to the writ petitioner at the rate of 9 per cent per annum on the gratuity amount as well as on the arrear pension calculated from 19.03.2016 till actual date of payment."

Let this correction be incorporated in the order dated 3 October, 2018.
