The petitioner contested the Panchayat General Elections, 2023.
She raises issue with regard to the missing ballot papers which were detected at the time of counting. representation was filed before the Block Development Officer on 14th July, 2023. The same is yet to be considered.
The said representation shall be considered and disposed of by the Block Development Officer at the earliest but positively by 9th August, 2023. A formal order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.
The Panchayat Returning Officer is directed to
properly preserve the CCTV/Video footages and the ballot papers and to produce the same as and when called for. The writ petition is disposed of.
Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
