Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the information furnished to the police authorities did not yield any result.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that Chinsurah PS Case No. 290 of 2025 dated 26.07.2025 has been registered against the respondent nos. 4 and 5.

Having considered that steps have been taken by the police authorities, I am

of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

However, the police authorities are directed to take the investigation to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 16784 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the petitioner.
