The learned advocate for the appellant has filed an application being CRAN 1 of 2024 stating that the appellant did not wish to proceed with the hearing of the instant appeal. The instant appeal arises out of an order of acquittal. Under the facts and circumstances, the instant criminal appeal being CRA 472 of 2001 is dismissed for non-prosecution. Copy of the order be sent to the Department as well as learned trial court for due compliance.
