1. In terms of order dated 25th August, administrative notice was served upon respondent no. 8 as it appears from the report dated 10th September, 2025 of the Assistant Registrar VIII and same is taken on record.

2. A report dated 2nd September, 2025 is prepared by the District Inspector of Schools (SE) Hooghly and same is filed by the learned advocate representing the State respondents, report is taken on record.

3. On perusal of the report it appears that Headmaster of Panchgara High School, Hooghly (hereinafter referred to as 'said school') has already been placed under suspension vide order dated 17th June, 2025 issued by the President of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. On perusal of suspension order

dated 17th June, 2025 it further appears that concerned authority of Board considered preliminary enquiry report furnished by the District Inspector of Schools (SE) Hooghly and found substance in the allegations made against the headmaster of the said school. President of the Board made it clear while issuing suspension order that headmaster of the said school was suspended in contemplation of disciplinary proceeding.

4. In the present writ petition teaching and non teaching staff of the said school have voiced grievance against the conduct of the headmaster. Prayer was made for taking steps against the said headmaster on holding enquiry. Though Board has not been added as party but on perusal of suspension order dated 17th June, 2025 it appears that steps have been taken by the concerned authority of Board for initiation of disciplinary proceedings and the headmaster has already been suspended.

5. In consideration of the steps taken by the Board no further order need be passed at this stage.

6. Writ petition stands disposed of.
