The petitioner prays that she should be allowed to participate in the recruitment process for the year 2020 conducted by the WBBPE vide notification dated 23rd December, 2020, by reducing cut off marks in each and every category.

In the documents annexed to the writ petition it appears that the petitioner participated in the recruitment process of the year 2016. There is no document to show that the petitioner participated in the recruitment process of the year 2020.

In terms of the decision of the Supreme Court in Ali Hossain Mandal & Ors. Vs. West Bengal Board of Primary Education & Ors. reported in 2024 SCC Online SC 1189, at paragraph 29 it has been held that panel for the year 2020 recruitment process must be deemed to have expired on 15th February, 2022. No further recruitment can be made from the said panel. 4.

The instant writ petition has been filed in July, 2023 and does not even disclose whether the

petitioner participated in the said recruitment process.

No relief therefore be granted to the petitioner. The writ petition fails and hereby dismissed.

WPA 16908 of 2023 is dismissed.
