Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners entered into a settlement with the de facto complainant.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention to the materials in the case diary. He submits that the petitioners are guilty of forging documents and altering the records of immovable property maintained with the Block Land and Land Reforms Office.

The private disputes between the de facto complainant and the petitioners may or may not have been settled. However, the incident of criminal liability by reason of forging of documents remains. There are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioenrs.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 3720 of 2022 is dismissed.
