Versus

The State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. Raju Mondal.

...for the petitioner.

Mr. Santanu Kr. Mitra Mr. Ananda Dulal Sarkar.

...for the State-respondents.

Petitioner is aggrieved as the police authorities have been unable to trace out and execute the warrant of arrest against the private respondent no.5.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that such warrant was sent to Gandhinagar Police Station, District-Bokara, Jharkhand. Jamuria Police Station has not received any warrant of arrest.

In view of the police authorities within the Commissionerate of Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate have no role to play, I am of the view that the petitioner would approach the jurisdictional High Court for necessary reliefs. No further interference is called for.

Accordingly, WPA 17097 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
