1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. Petitioner made an application for transfer in prescribed proforma seeking transfer on general ground (distance).

President of the Managing Committee of Jharboni Saradamoni Balika Vidyalaya (HS), Paschim Medinipur (hereinafter referred to as 'said school') issued 'no objection' on transfer application of the petitioner on 6th May, 2025.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that till date transfer application of the petitioner has not been forwarded to the concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE), Paschim Medinipur being respondent no. 5 for taking further steps on transfer application of the petitioner. It is also submitted that petitioner is

single teacher in the subject in the school. Therefore, steps are required to be taken by the concerned respondent authorities in terms of Government notification dated 3rd January, 2022.

4. One resolution dated 28th June, 2025 was adopted by the Managing Committee of the said school ratifying the 'no objection' issued in favour of the petitioner on 6th May, 2025.

State respondents, West Bengal Central School Service Commission and Board are represented by learned advocates and it is submitted since vide Managing Committee resolution dated 28th June, 2025 transfer application of the petitioner was accepted and it was decided that steps are required to be taken in terms of the relevant Government notification since petitioner is single teacher in the subject in the school, transfer application is required to be forwarded to the respondent no. 5 for taking necessary steps in terms of Government notification dated 3rd January, 2022.

Having considered the respective submissions made on behalf of the parties and taking note of the decision taken in the Managing Committee meeting dated 28th June, 2025 relating to transfer of the petitioner, respondent no. 6 is directed to forward transfer application of the petitioner to the respondent no. 5 by fortnight from the date of

communication of this order. On receipt of transfer application respondent no.

shall make an endeavour to find out a teacher of neighbouring school who can be deputed in place of the petitioner in the event petitioner is transferred. If a teacher is found from neighbouring schools who can man the post of the petitioner on his transfer, petitioner shall be transferred in accordance with law immediately thereafter.

7. Writ petition stands disposed of.
