The sole alleged contemnor/Pradhan of Maheshpur Gram Panchayat has filed a compliance report. Perused the compliance report.

It appears that the Pradhan of Maheshpur Gram Panchayat has already referred the matter to the SubDivisional Officer, Uluberia under Section 23(5) of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973, after having detected unauthorized construction.

The communication to the Sub-Divisional Officer and the resolution adopted in support thereof, have been annexed to the compliance report.

Under such circumstances, nothing further remains to be decided in the contempt application.

Accordingly, the contempt application is disposed of. The contempt proceedings are dropped.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
