Mr. Sabyasachi Mukhopadhyay Ms. Koushikee Banerjee ... for the petitioners Ms. Anwari Quraishi ... for the State-respondent Learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that the authorities namely, the Block Development Officer, Keshpur Development Block, Keshpur, Paschim Medinipur, respondent no.5 has complied the direction issued by this Court on 17th February, 2025. He also files a copy of fixed deposit in the name of minor Meghan Ghosh as per direction of this Court, which is taken on record. He also submits that recording such compliance the writ petition may be disposed of.

Learned Advocate for the State also submits that necessary compliance has been made in terms of order of this Court passed on 17th February, 2025.

By order dated 17th February, 2025, following direction was issued:- "In view of the contention made in letter as above, the Block Development Officer, Keshpur Development Block, Keshpur, Paschim Medinipur, respondent no.5 is directed to disburse the amount which remained unpaid to the deceasedcontractor, in equal share in favour of petitioner no.1, Sonali Roy @ Sonali Roy (Ghosh) (wife of the deceased), petitioner no.2, minor Meghan Ghosh (daughter of the deceased) and

proforma respondent no.11, Smt. Kalyani Ghosh (mother of the deceased) within a period of 10 days from the date of communication of this order.

The mother of the minor being the natural guardian is directed to receive the share of the minor on her behalf and keep the same in a fixed deposit scheme of any Nationalized Bank until attainment of majority by the minor. Petitioners are directed to communicate this order to Block Development Officer, Keshpur Development Block, Keshpur, Paschim Medinipur, respondent no.5 for necessary compliance."

Considering the submissions advanced at the Bar, it is found that order dated 17th February, 2025 has been duly complied.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 17438 of 2022 stands disposed of upon such compliance. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of all necessary legal formalities.
