Ms. Sukanya Datta ... for the State-respondent The petitioners are the officer bearers of a cooperative society and their allegation is that they are unable to function properly as they are threatened by some of the private respondents.

Mr.

Dalapati, learned advocate, represents the respondent no.5 and respondent nos. 10 to 16.

Learned advocate for the Staterespondent is also present and submits a

report.

The report reflects that the police authority has already taken steps and are in full knowledge of the disputes and differences between the petitioners and the private respondents.

In view of the contentions so advanced by the parties, I direct the Inspector-in-charge of Budbud P.S. to ensure that if the petitioners are having proper documents to function as office bearers of the said cooperative society, in that case, there shall be no disturbances in the regular activities of such cooperative society.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 17845 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed.

Report so submitted be kept with

the record.
