The writ petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that he has applied before the Sub-Divisional Officer, Howrah under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 for cancellation of a deed of gift which has not been considered till date. In that view of the matter, the application being annexure P-2 of the writ petition under Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, be considered and disposed of by the SubDivisional Officer, Howrah in accordance with the applicable rules, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petitioner shall serve a copy of this order on all non-appearing respondents.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
