The instant application is for relaxation of conditions of bail filed by the appellant/petitioner.

Vide order dated 9th September, 2019, a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court granted bail to the petitioner on furnishing bond of Rs.50,000/- with five sureties with further conditions directing him not to leave the jurisdiction of Burabazar Police Station except for the purpose of attending the Trial Court and

also directing him to meet the officer-in-Charge of Burabazar Police Station once a week. The petitioner has prayed for modification /relaxation of the above conditions. It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the petitioner that after passing of the order he has been regularly visiting the concerned Police Station as per the direction vide order dated 9th September, 2019. However, the petitioner is facing serious problem in complying with such conditions because he carries on textile business. Due to imposition of such conditions, he cannot travel beyond the jurisdiction of Burabazar police station. So the said conditions may be relaxed.

The learned P.P.-in-Charge has not raised serious objection against the prayer made by the petitioner. The above conditions regarding attending Burabazar police station once a week and restricting the petitioner from leaving the jurisdiction of Burabazar Police Station is modified in the following manner:- "Henceforth the petitioner shall meet the Officer-inCharge of Barabazar Police Station once in a month. He can leave the jurisdiction of the police station exclusively for the purpose of his business. He will be available as and when required by the Court."

CRAN/1/2021 is, thus, disposed of.
