The matter relate to application for transfer of a teacher, who is the petitioner herein, and the application through Utsashree portal came back to the petitioner on the ground of 10% rule of the amended rule of the General Transfer Rules, 2015.

However, now the school has submitted that as the application of one teacher has come back from the end of the District Inspector of Schools, if the petitioner files an application for transfer now, it will be within the

10% rule and in such an event the school will proceed further for sending the application to the District Inspector of schools.

Therefore, I dispose of this matter by directing the petitioner to file a fresh application and by directing the school and the District Inspector of Schools to look into the matter immediately without making further delay so that the petitioner can get a school so far as the distance is concerned from her residence.

I hope and expect that the appropriate authority will take steps keeping in mind the interest of the teacher and with the observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.

I also expect that the decision as to transfer of teacher will be taken within a period of one month from the date of the fresh application for transfer and the school will send it within four days from the date of receipt of the application to the higher authority. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.)
