For the Respondent no. 9 The grievance of the petitioner is directed against inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in disposing of the representation dated 13th February, 2024.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the private respondents are carrying out illegal and unlawful activities in the premises adjacent to that of the petitioner and the respondent authorities have taken no steps in the matter. On behalf of the State respondents, it is submitted that they have no objection if a direction is passed on the respondent no. 7 to consider and S.D.

dispose of the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.

The private respondent is represented

and submits that there has been no illegal nor unlawful construction which has been carried out at the subject premises and the private respondent has been running an oil mill prior to the acquisition of the premises by the petitioner.

In view of the above, WPA 17884 of 2024 stands disposed of by directing the respondent no. 7 to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and the respondent no. 7 is to act in accordance with law without being influenced by any observation on the merits of the case.
