(AD) 24.11.2021 C.R.M. 7428 of 2021 (Via Video Conference) Court No.29 (Partly Allowed) In Re: - An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed on 15.11.2021 in connection with Jalangi P.S. Case No. 228 of 2020 dated 07/06/2020 under Sections 341/324/325/308/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

And In the matter of: Abdul Faid Mondal @ Lalan & Anr. ....petitioners.

Mr. Jisan Iqubal Hossain ...for the petitioners.

Mr. Anowar Hossain Ms. Ratna Ghosh ...for the State.

Petitioners seek anticipatory bail.

On the prayer of the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners, the application is treated as "not pressed" for the petitioner no.2, namely, Jahangir Alam.

Having heard the learned Advocates for the petitioners and the State and having considered the materials in the case diary and having considered the fact that the other co-accused are on bail granted by the jurisdictional Court and having considered the fact that the police filed charge sheet, we grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner no.1, namely, Abdul Faid Mondal @ Lalan.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner no.1 shall be released on bail upon furnishing a Bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of

Criminal Procedure, 1973 and on further condition that petitioner no.1 shall appear before the jurisdictional Court on the dates fixed for trial and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.

The application for anticipatory bail being C.R.M. 7428 of 2021 is, thus, disposed of.
