Nimai Chandra Ghosh v. State Of West Bengal & ORS
Court No. 17 WPA 18253 of 2017 07.07.2023 Nimai Chandra Ghosh Vs.
The State of West Bengal & Ors.
(A 47) (S. Banerjee) Mr. Saibal Acharya ... for the petitioner Let the affidavit of service filed in court today be kept with the record.
The matter relates to conversion from CPF to GPF. The petitioner refunded all his amount as was required under the law for such conversion. He has got the PPO but the benefit has been given from the date of refund of the money but not from the date of retirement. I direct the respondent no. 3 to consider the case of the petitioner after giving him an opportunity of hearing within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order and to pass a reasoned order and if it goes in favour of the petitioner to take step immediately thereafter in favour of the petitioner. The reasoned order is to be communicated to the petitioner by one week from the date of passing of the reasoned order which should not be later than seven days from the date of the hearing.
With this observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
