The charges have been framed against the petitioner. Upon hearing learned advocate for the petitioner and learned advocate for the State and in consideration of the fact that commercial quantity of the contraband articles seized from the petitioner and bearing in mind the provisions of Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, learned Special Judge under NPDS Act is requested to undertake trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order.

Prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM 7439 of 2021 is dismissed.
