1. The petitioner claims that the application for maintenance made before the Maintenance Tribunal at Serampore, Hooghly has not been considered by the Maintenance Officer till date.

2. From the documents annexed to the writ petition it appears that the said application was forwarded through post and the postal track report makes it evident that the article concerned was not received by the officer.

3. The application sought to be filed by the petitioner is annexed at pages 31 to 34 of the writ petition.

4. The Sub Divisional Officer, South 24 Parganas being the Presiding Officer of the Maintenance Tribunal is directed to consider the said application in accordance with law and dispose of the same at the earliest.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
