The line of the petitioner was disconnected by CESC for non-payment of electricity bill in the year 2019.

Learned advocate appearing for CESC however submits that if a sum of Rs. 4,812/- is deposited, the line of the petitioner shall be restored. The petitioner has already made online application for new connection. The petitioner shall deposit the said amount of Rs. 4,812/- and all other incidental costs within a period of one week from date. CESC shall effect the electric connection within two weeks thereafter.

Accordingly, writ petition being WPA 16856 of 2025 is disposed of.
