The petitioners contested the Panchayat General Elections, 2023.

They allege booth capturing, violence and several other illegalities on the day of the poll.

It has been submitted that repeated complaints were lodged before the concerned authorities via Whatsapp and phone. There is no response from the respondents.

The petitioner pray for consideration of their complaint.

It appears that there is no document annexed to the writ petition in support of the complaints lodged. The first complaint appears to have been lodged on 14th July, 2023 that is long after the declaration of the result.

In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioners in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition stands dismissed.

It will be open to the petitioners to file appropriate election petition in accordance with law, for redressal of their grievances, if so advised.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
