Mookherjee, learned Advocate General, Mr. Anirban Ray, Mr. Nilotpal Chatterjee ..for the State In the petition a prayer has been made that the residents of Beldanga Municipality within the district of Murshidabad be granted limited permission for some symbolic procession for "Karteker Lorai" which is to be taken out on 18th of November, 2021.

The submission of the counsel for the petitioners is that the procession will be symbolic and it will be only for 400 meters. A reliance has been placed upon the order dated 11.11.2021 passed in WPA(P) 301 of 2021 in the case of Ajoy Dutta v. State of West Bengal and Others.

Learned Advocate General has fairly stated that if the representatives of the petitioners make such a request to the concerned authority, then their proposal would be duly looked into having due regard to the

Covid-19 situation.

Counsel for the petitioners has also assured that the Covid-19 guidelines will be strictly followed by carrying out the procession.

Having regard to the same, no further order is required to be passed in this matter. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
