Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays that two mobile phones which were taken by the police authorities in connection with Narendrapur P.S. Case No. 1593 of 2024 dated 21.12.2024 be returned to the petitioner. To that effect, application was preferred before the jurisdictional court. However, till date the police authorities did not respond to the same.

Mr. Samanta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that two cell phones were part of the investigation of the case.

As charge-sheet has been submitted in connection with the aforesaid case, two mobile phones which have been admitted to be taken in course of investigation be returned to the petitioner, if in further investigation in connection with the said, the phones are not required. If the same are

required, specific prayer be made before the learned ACJM in seisin of the said case. In the alternative, the same may be returned to the petitioner on bond. Petitioner would physically approach the police authorities for return of the same within a period of fortnight.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 17092 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
