The application for amendment of the written statement filed by the defendant tenant, shall be decided on its own merits, within four weeks from the date of communication of this order, upon allowing adequate opportunity to the plaintiff/landlord to contest the same. Accordingly, CO 2370 of 2023 is thus disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
