The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is for disposal of the appeal before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 5th Court, Howrah. It has been brought to my notice that the next date is fixed on 23.11.2021.

Learned advocate for the opposite party no.2 is present before this Court.

In view of the submissions advanced by both the parties and as the appeal is pending since February 2021, I am of the view that the revisional application can be disposed of with the following direction :

The learned Additional Sessions Judge, 5th Court, Howrah will take efforts so that the appeal being Criminal Appeal No. 4 of 2021 is disposed of on the next date i.e. 23.11.2021 or within a week thereafter. To that effect, the learned appellate court would be at liberty to fix continuous dates till the disposal.

The revisional application being CRR 2291 of 2021 is, thus, disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
