The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that no steps having been taken in connection with the progress of Netaji Nagar PS Case NO. 71 of 2025 dated 19.03.2025. The petitioner complains of acid burn injuries being inflicted upon the petitioner, being a lady.
The State has submitted a report. The report reflects that the steps have been taken and the accused persons are on interim bail. Steps have also been taken by the Investigating Officer.
However, having regard to the sensitivity of the case, I direct the Deputy Commissioner of Police, in charge of Netaji Nagar Police Station to monitor the investigation so that the same can be taken to its logical conclusion in a flawless manner.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA No. 17727 of 2025 stands disposed of.
Report submitted by the State be kept with the records. Copy of the report be handed over to the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner.
