1. Parties are represented by their respective counsels.
2. The present interim application has been filed by the parties for compromise in the matter in terms of the settlement which has been annexed as Annexure 'A' at page 13 of the application.
3. The terms of settlement in Annexure 'A' bearing the signatures of all the parties with the knowledge and cognizance of their respective counsels shall form part of the decree.
4. Taking into consideration the submissions advanced at the Bar, the application is disposed of on the basis of settlement in accordance with the terms of settlement in Annexure 'A'.

5. The impugned judgment and decree is modified to the extent of the settlement in Annexure 'A'.
6. The appeal is, accordingly disposed of.
7. No order as to costs.
8. All connected applications stand disposed of.
9. Department is directed to draw the decree as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months hence.
