Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that no marriage took place between the petitioner and the de facto complainant and that the de facto complainant attempted to prove it so.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the case diary. He submits that the claim of the de facto complainant is of marriage and the petitioner took money from the de facto complainant. He submits that the investigations are in progress. Considering the materials in the case diary and considering the gravity of the offences and the prima facie

complicity of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail, C.R.M. 7463 of 2021, is rejected.
