It appears therefrom that the respondent authorities took into consideration that the Presiding Officer's diary, detailed report of the Block Development Officer, the report of the APRO and the hall in-charge wherefrom it appears that the petitioner lost by a margin of 13 votes.

There is discrepancy in respect of 12 number of ballot papers. Even if 12 number of ballot papers are credited in favour of the petitioner, then the votes secured by the petitioner will be 331 votes, which is lesser than the votes secured by the winning candidate.

In view of the above, no apparent illegality is found on the part of the respondent authorities requiring interference by the Court. No relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition as well as the connected application stands dismissed.
