1. Heard the learned counsels for the petitioners, the State and the de-facto complainant.

2. It is the case of the prosecution that the victim was assaulted on his head. There is a 12 cm long cut exposing the cranium. Two teeth were also broken.

3. It is also alleged by the de-facto complainant that subsequently the petitioners, who are absconding, again came, threatened the informant and assaulted him.

4. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
