1. The report filed by the Welfare Officer, Midnapore Central Correctional Home is taken on record.

2. The appellant has expressed his desire to avail of the legal aid provided to him by the Calcutta High Court Legal Services Committee.

3. In view thereof, CRA 321 of 2021 stands dismissed as withdrawn.

4. IA No: CRAN 1 of 2022 shall be de-tagged from CRA 321 of 2021 and shall be treated to have been filed in CRA 209 of 2021.

5. Mr. Sourav Chatterjee, the learned Advocate appointed by the Calcutta High Court Legal Services Committee shall continue in respect of CRA 209 of 2021 and IA No: CRAN 1 of 2022.

6. The application for suspension of sentence, being IA No: CRAN 1 of 2022 shall be listed on 11th September, 2024.

7. Mr. Chatterjee shall be entitled to a junior of his choice, whose appointment shall be regularised by the Secretary, Calcutta High Court Legal Services Committee.

8. The report filed by the Superintendent, Midnapore Central Correctional Home is taken on record.

9. A copy of IA No: CRAN 1 of 2022 shall be served upon Mr. Madhusudan Sur, Ld. APP by tomorrow.
