The petitioner contested the Panchayat General Elections, 2023 and lost by one vote.

At present the petitioner prays for a direction for preservation of the CCTV/Video footages and the ballot papers.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Panchayat Returning Officer to properly preserve the CCTV/Video footages and the ballot papers and produce the same as and when directed.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
