For the State The present revisional application has been preferred for quashing Golabari P.S. Case No. 142 of 2023 dated 12.5.2023 under Section 498A/406/34 of the I.P.C. and under Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. In course of the proceedings, it was submitted on behalf of the petitioners and the Private O.P. No.2 that the parties have amicably settled the disputes.

Accordingly, a report was called for through Mr. Anowar Hossain, Learned Advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State.

Today, the Officer-in-charge of Golabari P.S. has submitted a report enclosing e-mail of Trishala Tiwari Choubey, wherein she has conveyed that she do not intend to proceed with the Golabari P.S. Case No. 142 of 2023 dated 12.5.2023 under Sections 498A/406/34 of the I.P.C. and under Sections 3 and 4 of the D.P. Act. and, added that if the proceedings of Golabari P.S. Case N. 142 of 2023 is quashed, she has no objection.

Accordingly, all further proceedings of Golabari P.S. Case No. 142 of 2023 dated 12.5.2023 is hereby quashed. Consequently, CRR 2654 of 2023 is allowed.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order, duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
