Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities since the police authorities only registered Mandir Bazar PS Case No. 303/24 dated 17.07.2024, however, there has been no progress in the case.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that notices were served upon the present petitioner but he was not available. There are accusations in the writ petition regarding the petitioner being harassed at the behest of antisocial elements as well as an apprehension relating to the school-going child being abducted. Police authorities have enquired into the same and according to the police authorities investigation is in progress. The statement of the wife of the petitioner has been recorded which states otherwise.

Since the investigation has commenced more than a year ago, if police authorities have arrived at their opinion, they would, within a period of 45 days from date, submit their report before the jurisdictional Court.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 17039 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
