Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Learned Advocate for the petitioner prays for bail. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits trial is at its fag end.

We have considered the materials on record. Trial has considerably progressed. In view of the incriminating materials on record, nature of offence and as trial has considerably progressed, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
