Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that as a result of breach of peace caused by respondent nos.5 to 8, the petitioner is prevented from returning to her own residence.

Learned counsel appearing for the police authorities submits that the petitioner is not cooperating with the police authorities in their efforts to investigate the matter. Though there is no chance of breach of peace in the locality and if the petitioner is willing to return to her house, the police authority shall keep strict vigil over the locale and the safety of the petitioner as well as her family members.

Learned counsel appearing for the private respondent no.5 to 8 submits that this is a civil dispute and the writ petition is not maintainable.

Heard the learned counsel for the parties at length.

The police shall keep a strict vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place and no harm is cuased to the petitioner and her family members.

With the above directions the writ petition being WPA 17954 of 2024 is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
