There are two aspects to the written complaint lodged by the petitioners:- First, the alleged murder of the victim and second, the police atrocity at the police station.

Since investigation is in progress, the investigating authority is directed to conduct a fair, unbiased and impartial investigation and take the same to its logical conclusion in accordance with law.

Upon completion of the investigation if the petitioners are aggrieved by the mode and manner of investigation or the charge sheet submitted by the investigating authority, they shall be at liberty to take necessary steps in accordance with law.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
