The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made an accidental error in putting '0.00' in a particular column for being admitted to the Humanity stream in Class XI.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner secured an aggregate of 84.22 marks in Class X examination and that candidates who were ranked below the petitioner have been admitted to Class XI to the said school whereas the petitioner has been excluded.

Learned counsel appearing for the University submits that there are seats available in Class XI and the petitioner may approach the University.

Upon hearing learned counsel, this court finds that several representations made by the petitioner in

September, 2021 but have not been responded to by the University.

The University is, therefore, directed to consider the said representations upon hearing all concerned including the petitioner and her guardian and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order within two weeks from date. A Copy of the reasoned order shall be given to the petitioner within a week from the date of the reasoned decision.

W.P.A.18183 of 2021 is disposed of in terms of the above.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
