Mr. Tapan Kumar Rakshit Mr. Surajit Roy ...for the petitioner Mr. Soumitra Bandyopadhyay Mr. Priyabrata Batabyal ...for the State The supplementary affidavit and affidavit of service filed in Court today are taken on record.

The petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondent authorities to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 filed on August 31, 2010.

The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner, in his usual fairness, submits that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner was called for an hearing on 13th August, 2025 and the petitioner duly attended the said hearing but no decision of such hearing was communicated to the petitioner till date.

Mr. Soumitra Bandyopadhyay, learned Senior Government Advocate, submits that the hearing has been concluded and a decision has already been taken. Mr. Bandyopadhyay, on instruction, submits that the reasoned decision along with the calculation shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from date.

In view thereof, nothing survives to be decided in

this writ petition. WPA 17038 of 2025 stands disposed of. In case the petitioner feels aggrieved by the decision of the authorities, it will be open to the petitioner to work out his remedies in accordance with law.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
