Case of the petitioner is that his prayer for supply of electricity connection for operating submersible pump was allowed by the concerned authority and that he deposited the quotation amount. After delay of quite a few months, he has complied with all the necessary formalities for obtaining the connection. The connection, however, could not be made because cultivation was underway.

The instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Station Manager, Gazole Customer Care Centre, WBSEDCL, the second respondent herein, to effect necessary electricity connection in terms of the petitioner's application filed after the cultivation over the subject plot of land is complete.
