The writ petitioner is aggrieved by alleged inaction into FIR No. 203 of 2021 dated 8th August, 2021 registered with the Lake Town Police Station. It appears from the instructions of the Lake Town Police Station that all accused persons are detained and interrogation is on.

This Court is surprised to know that about 43.5 lakhs have been paid to the accused persons as advance commission by the petitioner expecting a loan of about 200 crores.

Be that as it may, investigation into this FIR and several other FIRs lodged at the instance of the other victims appear to be happening effectively.

This Court is of the view that there is no inaction on the part of the police. Police in their discretion may seek assistance of the economic affairs wing of the State police or the city police in this regard.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

The instructions of the I. C., Lake Town Police Station is taken on record.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
