Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that in CRR 66 of 2021 by an order dated 11.01.2021 a co-ordinate Bench of this Court was pleased to direct the learned trial court to conclude the proceedings as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties and keeping in mind the statutory stipulations about expeditious disposal of a case under the provisions of Negotiable Instruments Act.

Learned advocate submits that, in spite of the said direction, the case has only reached to the stage of evidence after the examination under Section 251 of the Code of Criminal Procedure was over on the last date so fixed. It has been informed that the next date is fixed on 19th April, 2022.

Having regard to the fact that the complaint case was

initiated in the year 2017 and almost five years have passed since then, the learned trial court would fix dates of this complaint case on each and every month so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion and there is compliance of the order dated 11.01.2021 passed in CRR 66 of 2021.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2302 of 2021 is disposed of.
